About Showfolk

What is Showfolk?

Showfolk is an AI marketing platform for small businesses: organic and paid marketing in one place, made from what is already winning in your industry. It makes TikTok and Instagram slideshows and Meta ads in your brand, watches competitors’ new ads, tracks who ChatGPT recommends instead of you, and works inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You type your website once, and Showfolk reads your logo, colors, fonts and product photos into a brand kit that everything after is made from. It runs in a web browser, and plans start at $29.99 a month after a 3-day free trial.

About

Who is Showfolk for?

Showfolk is for small business owners who run their own Facebook, Instagram and TikTok marketing and have no designer or marketing team: online stores, software companies and local businesses such as restaurants, salons, dentists and trades. The Pro and Agency plans are for media buyers and agencies that look after several brands.

What does Showfolk replace?

Showfolk does six jobs that are usually bought as separate tools: an ad inspiration library, an AI ad generator, a slideshow maker, competitor ad tracking, an AI search tracker and a brand kit. Bought separately at the lowest paid monthly plan of a well-known tool for each job (Foreplay, AdCreative.ai, ReelFarm, BigSpy, Semrush, Canva Pro), they come to $423 a month on the vendors’ own pricing pages, checked September 2026. Showfolk Starter is $29.99 a month.

How is Showfolk different from other AI ad generators?

Showfolk starts from proof instead of a prompt. Most AI ad generators begin with a blank prompt or a template; Showfolk begins with a real ad that a major brand is paying to run on Meta, which you pick from its library, and rebuilds that ad’s layout, lighting and mood around your product. Your logo and headline are placed as real layers from your brand kit, not drawn by the image model. Competitor tracking and AI search tracking come in the same plan.

How Showfolk compares with other tools

How does this make my ads more profitable?

Showfolk takes the guessing out of what you run. Every ad starts from one a big brand has kept paying for, competitor watch shows which of their ads have run long enough to be paying off, and AI search shows where buyers are being sent instead of to you. Showfolk never sees your ad account, so it cannot promise a number. What it changes is how much of your budget goes to finding out what works.

Do I need design skills or a designer?

No. Showfolk does the layout: you pick a reference ad, look over the four versions that come back, and change anything by clicking the spot and saying what should be different. There are no layers, masks or prompts to learn.

Who makes Showfolk?

Showfolk is made by Tribe Industries Inc., a company in Layton, Utah, and was founded by Spencer Tribe in 2026. Showfolk at showfolk.ai is not related to concert or ticketing apps, or to other products with a similar name. You can reach the team at support@showfolk.ai.

About

Does Showfolk work on a phone?

Yes. Showfolk runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Finished ads and slideshow slides can be saved to your phone’s photos.

Pricing and the free trial

How much does Showfolk cost?

Showfolk has three plans, billed monthly or yearly: Starter at $29.99 a month (120 images, 1 brand), Pro at $99 a month (400 images, 3 brands), Agency at $249 a month (1,000 images, 10 brands). Paid for a year up front, each plan costs ten months’ price (Starter $299.90, Pro $990, Agency $2,490). Every plan includes ads, the ad library, slideshows, competitor tracking, AI search tracking and the Claude and ChatGPT connector, and every plan starts with a 3-day free trial.

Pricing

Is there annual billing?

Yes. Every Showfolk plan can be paid monthly or for a year up front, and a year costs ten months’ price, so 2 months are free: Starter is $299.90 a year instead of $29.99 a month, Pro is $990 a year instead of $99 a month, Agency is $2,490 a year instead of $249 a month. Pick Annual on the plan cards when you start; the 3-day free trial works the same way, and your images still arrive month by month. A subscriber can switch between monthly and annual from the billing page.

Pricing

How does the 3-day free trial work?

Every plan starts with 3 free days. You add a card at checkout and nothing is charged today. In those 3 days you can make up to 40 images in your brand and download them all without a watermark. If you do nothing, the plan starts on day 4 at its monthly price. Cancel from the billing page before then and you pay nothing. We email you the day before.

Is there a free plan?

No. You can make an account, set up your brand kit from your website and browse part of the library for free. Making ads starts with the 3-day free trial, once per account.

Why does the free trial need a card?

So the plan can start without interrupting you if you keep going. Nothing is charged for 3 days, and Showfolk emails you the day before the trial ends. Payment is handled by Stripe, and Showfolk never sees or stores your full card number.

What is a credit?

One credit is one image, so Starter’s 120 images a month are 120 credits. An ad comes back as four versions, so it costs four credits; a slideshow costs one credit per generated slide (product-photo and text-card slides are free). Edits cost one credit per version. Adjusting, exporting and browsing are free. Failed or blocked jobs are refunded automatically.

Do unused images roll over to the next month?

No. Each plan’s images arrive at the start of the billing month and reset at the start of the next one. Images left over from the free trial end with the trial.

Can I change plans?

Yes, at any time from the billing page. An upgrade takes effect straight away, with the price prorated for the rest of the month. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the billing page. Access continues to the end of the paid period. If you cancel during the free trial you pay nothing.

What happens to my ads if I cancel?

Your account, your brand kit and the ads you made stay where they are. Downloading needs a plan or a trial, so download what you want to keep before the paid period ends.

Making ads

How does Showfolk make an ad?

In three steps. Showfolk reads your website into a brand kit: your logo, colors, fonts and product photos. You pick a real ad from the library, or take the one suggested for your industry. Showfolk then rebuilds that ad’s layout around your product and hands back four versions, which you can change and download.

How Showfolk works

How long does it take to make an ad?

About a minute for the four versions of an ad. Setting up your brand kit from your website happens once and takes a few minutes, so a first ad takes under ten minutes in all.

Does it copy the ads in the library?

No. The reference becomes a written brief about layout, lighting and mood, and the model only sees a blurred copy. The reference’s own product and brand are named as off-limits, and every output is checked for them afterwards.

Borrowing a style without copying it

Will my logo and text come out right?

Showfolk places your logo and headline as real layers from your brand kit, so the image model never draws them. The model makes the scene, the layers go on top, and the copy is read back and checked for spelling. Generated images can still contain mistakes, so look over each version before you run it.

Why AI image tools garble text and logos

Can I change an ad after it is made?

Yes. Click the spot on the ad and say what should change, and Showfolk returns a revised version with everything else left as it was. An edit costs one credit per version.

Does it write the ad copy?

Showfolk writes the headline on the image from your website, and you can change it. The primary text that sits above the image on Facebook and Instagram is yours to write in Meta Ads Manager.

Which sizes can I export?

1080×1080, 1080×1350 and 1080×1920, as PNG or JPG, one at a time or many at once as a zip.

Meta ad sizes and safe zones

Can I use the ads commercially, and who owns them?

Yes. Under Showfolk’s Terms the ads you generate are assigned to you, and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including paid advertising, with no credit to Showfolk. You are responsible for the claims your ads make and for the rules of the platform you run them on. Whether an AI-generated image can be protected by copyright varies by country.

Terms, section 8

Does Showfolk post ads to Facebook or Instagram for me?

No. Showfolk does not connect to your Meta ad account. You download the image and add it in Meta Ads Manager, or use it when you boost a post.

Does Showfolk make video ads?

No. Showfolk makes static image ads and photo slideshows, the kind posted in TikTok photo mode or as an Instagram carousel. It does not make video.

What if I don’t have a website?

You can set up your brand by hand: your business name, a line on what you sell, a photo and your logo if you have one. Everything else in Showfolk works the same from there.

Does it work with Shopify, Squarespace and Wix sites?

Yes. Showfolk reads a page’s HTML the way a browser does, so it does not matter what the site was built with. If a site turns automated visitors away, Showfolk reads the Internet Archive’s copy instead and you fill in anything it missed.

Free brand kit extractor

Does Showfolk work for local and service businesses?

Yes. The library covers online stores, software and local services, and Showfolk has worked examples for trades such as restaurants, plumbers, HVAC, salons, gyms, dentists and real estate. Add the area you serve and AI search asks about it too.

Which AI models does Showfolk use?

Showfolk uses image, vision and text models from OpenAI by default, with a Google image model as the backup, as its Terms list. Models are chosen for quality and change as better ones arrive. Your logo and headline are never drawn by any of them; they are placed on top as real layers.

Terms, section 11

The ad library

Where do the ads in the library come from?

They are static image ads that brands are running publicly on Facebook and Instagram. Each one is reviewed by a person before it is added, tagged by industry, layout, hook and format, and linked to its public source. The library is for reference and research; the originals cannot be downloaded.

The ad library

Is the ad library free?

Part of it. Anyone with a free account can browse part of the library and use the filters and search. Every ad unlocks with the 3-day free trial or any plan.

Can a brand have its ads removed from the library?

Yes. Any brand can ask from the removal request page. Showfolk hides the ad as soon as a complete request arrives and answers within two business days.

Removal requests

Slideshows

Can Showfolk make TikTok slideshows?

Yes. Give Showfolk a topic and it plans the story, writes every slide, makes the photos in your brand and sets the words on top as real type. Slideshows come in 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, and 4:5 and 1:1 for Instagram carousels, with a caption and hashtags written for you.

TikTok slideshow maker

How does Showfolk write slideshows people save?

Showfolk writes value first: every middle slide is a tip, sign or step worth keeping on its own, and your brand appears at the end as the next step. A list's cover says how many slides follow. You can ask for short captions or explained tips, and switch on "Look up real facts" to put recent figures from named sources on the slides, with the sources in the caption. Topics can come from the problems you list in your brand kit.

TikTok slideshow maker

What does a slideshow cost?

One credit per generated slide. Slides from your product photos and text slides cost nothing, and failed or blocked slides are refunded.

Who appears in the slideshow photos?

You choose: no face at all, hands only, or a creator. A creator is a real person: you upload one to six photos of them and confirm you have their consent.

Does it post to TikTok for me?

Not yet. You save the slides and the caption to your phone and post them yourself, which also lets you add a sound in the app.

Competitor tracking

How does competitor tracking work?

Name the Meta Pages you compete with. Showfolk checks the public Meta Ad Library every day, keeps a copy of every ad they run, and tells you when an ad appears, stops, or has run for 30 days (the closest public signal that an ad is working). Each new ad is read for its angle and offer, with ideas for your brand and a suggested reply you can generate in one tap. Starter watches 3 competitors, Pro 10, Agency 25, and a weekly email sums up the changes.

Competitor ad tracker

Which competitors can I track?

Any advertiser with a Facebook Page. Showfolk reads the public Meta Ad Library, which lists every ad running on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads. Type the name or paste the Page address; if the Page runs no ads right now you can still watch it and hear when the first one starts.

Which platforms are covered?

Meta today: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Threads and the Audience Network, everything the Meta Ad Library lists. Google and TikTok are next.

How is this different from an ad spy tool?

Spy tools such as Foreplay, AdSpy and Minea show you competitor ads and charge from about $49 to $149 a month for it (their own pricing pages, September 2026). Showfolk shows you the change, reads it, and makes your reply, and it is included in the same plan that makes your ads.

Does the reply ad copy the competitor?

No. The competitor’s ad is treated the way a library ad is: it becomes a written brief about layout, lighting and mood, and the model only sees a blurred copy. The competitor’s product, people and brand are named as off-limits and every output is checked for them afterwards. The suggested headline is written for your brand, never reused from theirs.

Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants

Can I use Showfolk from ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Showfolk is an MCP connector at https://www.showfolk.ai/api/mcp. Add it in Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that takes a remote MCP server, sign in, and you can set up a brand, make and revise ads, check competitors, track AI search and make slideshows from the chat. The assistant asks before it spends credits.

Set it up in your assistant

Can the assistant spend my credits without asking?

The connector tells the assistant to confirm with you before anything that charges credits, and the paid actions say so in their own descriptions. Credits, plan limits and refunds for failed jobs work exactly as on the site.

What can the assistant see?

Your Showfolk account only: brand kits, ads you have made, and the library. It never sees your password, because sign-in happens on Showfolk and the assistant only holds a token you can revoke. An assistant connected with an API key holds that key instead, and you can revoke it the same way.

Privacy, payment and help

Does Showfolk train AI on my content?

No. Showfolk does not use your uploads or the ads you make to train AI models. Its AI providers are used through business APIs, under terms that keep them from training on what is sent. Showfolk does not sell your data.

Privacy Policy

Is my payment information safe?

Payments are processed by Stripe. Showfolk never sees or stores your full card number, and you manage or cancel your plan in Stripe’s customer portal from the billing page.

Can I delete my ads and my account?

Yes. You can delete ads, brand assets and collections inside Showfolk at any time. To close your account, email support@showfolk.ai; the account and what is in it are deleted within 30 days.

Privacy Policy

How do I get help?

Email support@showfolk.ai or use the contact form, and a person answers.
