How Showfolk works

Last updated

Showfolk works in three steps: set up your brand kit once, pick a real ad from a library of 1,725 ads that 163 major brands are running, and get it back rebuilt around your product, logo and colors. The first ad takes under ten minutes including setup; after that, a new ad takes about a minute.

Showfolk in one minute: the whole flow, recorded in the real app with the Kodiak Cakes demo brand. Captions are on.

Your ads don’t fail because your product is bad. They fail when they look like every other AI-generated ad, and people scroll past. With Showfolk, you start from real ads that are already working, then rebuild their winning structure around your business. Paste your website. You get your logo, colors, fonts, what you sell, and who it’s for in your brand kit. Pick a winning ad from the library. In about a minute, you get four versions built for your brand, with your headline and logo. Tap once to download. Then you keep going. Watch what your competitors run and draft your reply. Check whether ChatGPT and Perplexity recommend you. Turn your photos into slideshows for TikTok and Instagram. You can even make your ads inside Claude or ChatGPT, if that’s where you already work. Try it free for three days. Cancel any time.

What are the steps?

  1. Set up your brand kit, once. Paste your website and your logo, colors, fonts and product photos are pulled in. You can also add them by hand. This is the only setup, and every later ad reuses it.
  2. Pick an ad you wish were yours. Browse real static ads that major brands are running on Meta. Filter by industry, layout and format to see what the winners in your own category look like.
  3. Get it back as your ad. The ad is rebuilt around your product, in your colors, with your copy. A generation takes about 40 seconds. Click any spot to change it, then export.

Why start from a real ad instead of a prompt?

Because the hardest part of making an ad is knowing what it should look like. A prompt box assumes you already know. A library of ads that established brands chose to spend money on answers the question before you generate anything, and it lets you judge the result against something concrete.

How are the logo and headline always right?

Showfolk uses hybrid rendering. An image model produces the scene and composition, and then your real logo and your headline are composited on top as actual layers from your brand kit. They are never drawn by the model, so there are no melted logos or misspelled words. Copy is read back and checked for spelling, and your product is never redrawn. Why AI tools usually get this wrong.

How do I change something?

Click the spot on the ad and say what should change there. You get a revised version with everything else left exactly as it was. There are no masks, no layers panel and no prompt writing.

Does it copy the reference ad?

No. The reference is turned into a written brief about layout, lighting and mood. The image model only sees a blurred copy, the reference brand’s own product and marks are named as off-limits, and every output is checked for them afterwards. What carries over is structure, which every advertiser reuses; the content is yours. More on borrowing a style without copying it.

Where do the library ads come from?

They are static image ads that brands are running publicly on Meta. Each one is reviewed by a person before it is shown and tagged by industry, layout, hook and format, and each links to its public source. The library is for reference and research; originals cannot be downloaded. A brand can have any ad removed through the removal request form.

What do I get at the end?

A finished static ad at 1080×1080, 1080×1350 and 1080×1920, as PNG or JPG, singly or as a zip, with no watermark. You upload it to Meta Ads Manager yourself; Showfolk does not connect to your ad account.

What else does Showfolk do?

The same brand kit feeds the rest of the platform: photo slideshows for TikTok and Instagram, a daily watch on your competitors’ Meta ads with a reply ad for each, and a weekly check of what ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity say about your business. All of it is in every plan. Showfolk does not make video. How Showfolk compares with other tools.

What does it cost?

Browsing is free. Making ads starts with a 3-day free trial on any plan: you add a card at checkout, nothing is charged for 3 days, and you can make up to 40 images. After that, plans start at $29.99 a month for 120 images. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Pricing.
