See every ad your competitors run. Answer it by Monday.

Name the brands you compete with. Showfolk reads their Facebook and Instagram ads in the public Meta Ad Library every day, tells you what appeared, what stopped and what has run 30+ days, reads each ad for its angle and offer, and drafts your reply in your own brand.

Try: Lead with your own fall arrivals this week: one product, one line, warm light.

  2. A Rothy’s ad: One flat, close up, “Just in” in capitals. Five weeks on air means it is paying for itself.

Try: Put one hero product front and centre with a two-word headline. Their budget already proved the layout.

  3. A Rothy’s ad: Trend-led western prints. Paused inside two weeks: the trend angle did not hold.

Not a spy tool. A reply.

Ad spy tools show you a wall of competitor ads and leave the thinking to you. Showfolk watches for the change, reads it, and makes the ad that answers it, from the same brand kit that makes the rest of your ads.
  • Checked every day

Every Page you name is read in the public Meta Ad Library once a day. New ads, stopped ads, and ads that have run 30 days or more are recorded the day they change.

  • Read for angle and offer

Each new ad gets a short reading: what it shows, the angle, the offer, who it is for, and two to four things your brand could try. Plain words, no dashboard.

  • Reply in one tap

Every ad has a Make a reply ad button. The competitor’s ad becomes the reference and the suggested headline is filled in; you get four versions in about a minute.

Two minutes to set up. Then it runs.

  1. 1

    Name them

Type a competitor’s name or paste their Facebook Page address. Showfolk finds the Page and shows how many ads it is running.

  2. 2

    First look

Within two minutes you see every ad they run, what launched in the last two weeks, and which ads have been on air long enough to be winners.

  3. 3

    Every day after

Each Page is checked daily. Changes land in your feed, and a Monday email sums up the week with the first idea for each.

    Answer

Pick an ad, press Make a reply ad, and Showfolk rebuilds the angle around your product, logo and colours. Their brand, product, people and words never come along.

Meta never tells you what worked. Time on air does.

The Ad Library shows every ad an advertiser runs, but for ordinary ads it publishes no spend, no reach and no results. What it does show is the start date. Advertisers switch off what loses, usually inside two weeks. An ad still running after 30 days is one they keep paying for. That is the closest thing to a proven winner you can see from outside, and Showfolk flags it the day it crosses the line.

Questions

Which competitors can I track?
Any advertiser with a Facebook Page. Showfolk reads the public Meta Ad Library, which lists every ad running on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads. Type the name or paste the Page address; if the Page runs no ads right now you can still watch it and hear when the first one starts.
Why does “running 30+ days” matter?
Meta publishes no spend or results for ordinary ads, so time on air is the only public signal that an ad is working. Advertisers switch off what loses. An ad still running after 30 days is one they keep paying for, which is the closest thing to a proven winner you can see from outside.
Does the reply ad copy the competitor?
No. The competitor’s ad is treated the way a library ad is: it becomes a written brief about layout, lighting and mood, and the model only sees a blurred copy. The competitor’s product, people and brand are named as off-limits and every output is checked for them afterwards. The suggested headline is written for your brand, never reused from theirs.
How many competitors can I watch?
It is part of every plan: Starter watches 3, Pro 10, Agency 25. An account without a plan can watch 1, so you can see it work before the free trial.
How is this different from an ad spy tool?
Spy tools such as Foreplay, AdSpy and Minea show you competitor ads and charge from about $49 to $149 a month for it (their own pricing pages, September 2026). Showfolk shows you the change, reads it, and makes your reply, and it is included in the same plan that makes your ads.
Which platforms are covered?
Meta today: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Threads and the Audience Network, everything the Meta Ad Library lists. Google and TikTok are next.
How often do I hear about changes?
The feed updates daily. The email comes once a week, on Monday morning, and only when something changed. Unsubscribe from the email any time; the feed keeps going.
